Snowdonia/Eryri Maps

Snowdonia National Park was created in 1951 and covers 840 square miles including 60 miles of coast.  The Snowdonia National Park has Wales' largest mountain, Snowdon which stands at 1,085 metres (3,560 feet).  62% of people living in the Snowdonia National Park speak Welsh.

Unusually, the Snowdonia National Park has a hole in the middle, around Blaenau Ffestiniog, this was done to enable new industries to develop after the demise of the slate mines there.
